Alla Fiera di Norimberga hanno fatto furore le bambole di Bloom e Peg e Bloom Principessa.
Le prime tre serie arriveranno in America sotto forma di quattro speciali da un'ora ciascuno per l'estate 2011 su Nickelodeon. La quarta serie andrà in onda in autunno 2011 su Nickelodeon.
La quinta serie di Winx Club in America arriverà su Nickelodeon a febbraio 2012.

Winx Club
The firm’s recent deal with Nickelodeon means that all future Winx activity will be supported by a long-term, guaranteed broadcast platform.
Beginning this summer, Nickelodeon will air four new one-hour specials in the US, UK, Latin America, Canada and Benelux. These will summarise the first three series and will be followed by series four in the autumn, and five in February 2012 (all co-produced with Nickelodeon).
US and UK toy deals are in the works, while the brand is already established in the apparel category. In the UK, Smith & Brooks is on board, while Mirtillo and Yaygan showcased clothing and bag lines at the CPM Collection Premier in Moscow in February. In terms of toys, Rainbow received a good reaction to its Bloom & Peg doll and the Bloom Princess doll at Nuremberg, both of which come from the 3D Winx Club movie.

The show’s TV debut had strong support from around Europe, with peak ratings of 45 per cent on France 3 (October 2010), 58 per cent on Spain’s Clan TV (October 2010) and 58 per cent on Portugal’s TVI (November 2010).
Master toy licensee Bandai is rolling out an extensive line of product throughout Europe, including collectable figurines, ragdolls, mini dolls and friends and play-sets. The line has already been showcased in France, backed up by other partners including Tennesses (BTS), Carel (apparel), Hachette (publishing) and Ferrero (chocolate eggs) among others.
In Spain, Giochi Preziosi has inked a deal for arts and crafts, outdoor and electronic toys, while Panini Espana, Editorial Planeta and Big Picture are also on board. In Portugal, Lusomundo will support the brand with DVD, VOD and Blu-ray.
PopPixie has been available in Italy since 2007 (when the characters first appeared in Winx Club and had a fashion doll line) and there are over 20 licensees in the territory. |

Domenica arrivano le Winx all'Ipercoop di Sarzana
Sarzana. Domenica 27 marzo arrivano le Winx al Centro Luna di Sarzana. A partire dalle 16 nella galleria del centro commerciale verrà presentato l’ultimo film d’animazione in 3D delle più amate fatine made in Italy: le Winx. La pellicola, dal titolo “Magica avventura”, uscita nelle sale lo scorso ottobre (Medusa distribuzione), ha la regia di Iginio Straffi, creatore delle stesse Winx, fenomeno mondiale anche a livello di merchandising. In questa occasione, a tutti i presenti, verranno infatti offerti gadget a marchio “Winx club” di vario genere.
Inoltre l’atmosfera magica del film verrà ricreata al Centroluna grazie all’animazione di alcune hostess vestite con gli inconfondibili abiti delle magiche beniamine. |

Gli episodi riassumeranno la prima, seconda e terza serie del cartone animato.
Il budget è di tre milioni di dollari.

Winx Specials (4 x 60) 2011 is certainly the Year of the Winx! The recent deal with Nickelodeon heads up a landslide of new Winx activity, starting with four brand new one hour specials to launch on Nickelodeon worldwide this year. In order to bring Winx Fans up to date with the wonderful ways and going on of the Winx, Rainbow and Nickelodeon are co-producing four specials that will summarize Series One, Two and Three. The specials will be produced in 2D in the glitzy style of Series Four, with a budget 3 million USD.
In Series One the Winx Club was formed by a group of close friends at Alfea College. The dynamic group discover their Fairy powers and, together with the Specialists (their male counterparts), they tackle the difficulties of life at college. Series Two sees the addition of Layla as well as the magical Pixies, who help against the treachery of Lord Drakar, bent on conquering the realm of Magix! In Season Three the Fairies are in their last year of college when they will qualify as full fledged fairies – while dealing with a whole new cast of characters and enemies alike. |

GIRLS MONTH: Rainbow ramps up publishing deals for PopPixie and Winx

New European agreements further strengthen hit girls' properties.
Rainbow S.p.A has sealed a number of new publishing deals for its PopPixie and Winx Club brands.
Winx Club is building up a strong programme throughout Europe and Russia. In Spain, Medialive has the licence for books, while Panini continues to distribute the monthly magazine. In Norway, Schibsted Forlage has picked up the book rights, with more than ten titles to be launched each year.
In Germany, Blue Ocean has renewed its magazine licence, while in Russia, CIS and Turkey, AST has won the Russian magazine rights and GIPTA has secured a stationery deal.
Finally, in Turkey, ALFA Publishing will distribute Winx books under its Artemis brand, while Aventura will distribute the Winx magazine.
Moving on to PopPixie, and Rusconi Gruppo Editoriale is on board for novels and activity books; and in France, Hachette has the book licence and will launch 24 titles this year. In Spain and Portugal, a PopPixie volume will be launched by Editorial Planeta and Edicoes ASA respectively. Turkish partners ALFA Publishing and Aventura have books and magazines. |

Winx Club and PopPixie Brighten up Russian Ratings
(Cannes, France, April 4, 2011) - (Virtual Press Office) - Rainbow is pleased to announce a major deal with Russian broadcaster CTC for its iconic brand Winx Club and icon-in-waiting PopPixie. The deal is a direct result of the Winx’ extraordinary, long term ratings success and its solid position as the No.1 girls property in Russia - and will establish the shows on CTC’s programming grid for years to come.
The deal includes four brand new Winx Club TV movies as well as upcoming Series Five (26 x 24), both co-productions with Nickelodeon. CTC already holds the rights to Winx Club Series 1-4 which have had literally unparalleled success in Russia, both in terms of TV ratings and brand awareness: Winx Club has consistently been one the top five highest rating shows on air in Russia since its launch in 2008, regularly achieving audience shares of around 60%, even on reruns (Eurodata TV). On the licensing front, Winx Club is far and away the most successful girls brand in the territory: it just received the prestigious 2011 Golden Bear Award for Best Licensed Property because of the outstanding quality of its licensing presence and revenue results, even surpassing the likes of Bakugan and Ben 10.
CTC will air the brand new Winx Club TV movies this fall 2011 followed by a rerun of series 3 and 4. They will then will air Winx Club 3D Magical Adventure in January 2012 (during the Christmas holiday) followed by a rerun of series 1-4 in the lead up to the much awaited broadcast of Series Five in fall 2012.
CTC also purchased PopPixie (52 x 13), Rainbow’s latest animated comedy series, which had an extremely positive debut across Europe last year, reaching peak ratings of up to 58% amongst 4-6 year olds. The leading Russian broadcaster will launch PopPixie in Fall 2011, and expects to replicate the success of Winx Club, as well as PopPixie’s results throughout Europe. ”As you know we treasure our long years partnership and we'll be happy to put your new animated series on air,” stated a spokesperson for the channel. |
